Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take our breath away. |
Hi Everyone, my name is Karen Meza and I teach 7th grade Social Studies at Hillsdale Middle School in El Cajon.
I am a San Diego native who loves sunsets and sunrises, riding my bike, hiking, spending time with family, and could use some cooking tips if anyone is interested in helping me out. I have a loving husband and two darling sons who keep my life full of joy and gratitude. I find adventure by traveling near and far. With 10 countries and 22 states checked off so far, there is still a world of possibilities to come. Traveling has opened my heart and mind to the vast amount of cultures and traditions that make humanity dynamic. I love to meet new people and truly see the world for its reality. Intimacy - "into me you see." Have you ever wondered what your spirit plant is? I am a sunflower. Sunflowers have one tall stem because they are individuals that stand strong, just as I stand for my morals and values. Sunflowers are made up of tons of tiny flowers, and I associate this with the many people who have helped me blossom. Baby sunflowers, similar to other plants move to face the sun, just as my San Diego soul chases the sun and the Son, Christ, daily. Sunflowers have many seeds; these I consider as my legacy I will leave behind and the love I share with others. Lastly, sunflower are always growing just as I grow with my students every day.
